2017 - 2020 Olympic Solidarity Guide

World Archery would like to present to you the new 2017-2020 Olympic Solidarity guide for Member Associations.  In brief, the guide will describe the different programs available to assist in various Member Association projects.  These programs include scholarships, courses and education training.

Coaches can receive post graduate education training and coaching course training domestically or abroad at the WA Excellence Training Centre. Athletes may receive training scholarships for the Olympics, YOG preparation or Continental and Regional Game Support to train domestically or abroad, particularly at the WA Excellence Training Centre.  An additional program is for the development of a National Sport System and is targeted at countries who have recently created a National Federation or that lack structure within their NF.

World Archery encourages all our Member Associations to apply to the OS programs as soon as possible.

Olympic Solidarity programs can be a key driver for the development of Archery in a country.  Benefits can be seen in the improvement of youth and elite archers, the development of coaches, referees and officials in a country and for a country’s national sport structure.

For assistance in applying and for more information, please contact your National Olympic Committee or the WA Development Department, Ms. Christine Jennings at cjennings@worldarcherycentre.org.

We are looking forward to working with our Member Associations leading up to Tokyo 2020!
